Ella has been taking lots of pictures lately and I thought I should show off her skills. I have been trying to get her to think about what she is taking a picture of instead of just clicking away. So here is some of her work. I asked her why she took each picture and the quotes are her answers.

So...It's been forever since we've updated the blog. With Facebook I don't keep up this site as much as I should. I just wanted to post some random pictures of the girls.

We decided to act on a whim and take our girls trick or treating. So we dug through our dress up clothes and came up with ballerina-princess-fairies (my mom got them wings but I didn't get any pictures with them). They loved it!

On October 14, Ella turned 4 years old. She is starting to seem so grown up.

Staab Family Reunion

So last week we went to a family reunion down in Selah at my Aunt Kristen's house. The girls had a blast riding a horse and playing with some cousins they don't get to see very much.

With some members of my family living on separate continents this was the first time in over two years where everyone was accounted for. It was a good time seeing everyone, I just wish some how we could stretch it out a couple days instead of only a few hours.

OK, it's taken me way to long to post our vacation pictures but here are the last of them. We left Hollister and stopped and the Bensen's in Sacramento. We got to meet there little guy Carter, who is stinkin' cute.

After Sacramento we drove way to long to get to Crescent City, but it was very worth it. We had a blast.

Part 3- Monterey

We spent a day in Monterey. While we were there we went to the beach, the Fisherman's Wharf, Farmer's Market and Dennis the Menus Park.

Part 2- Hollister

We had a lot of fun in Hollister. The girls loved all of there cousins and there great grandma.

Vacation- Part 1

Vancouver, WA

Our first stop on our vacation was seeing some of our favorite people, the Dodson's. We went to the park, picked blackberries, made smores and visited. My kids loved the big kids, especially Hannah.

Selah, WA

The weekend before last we went to Selah for the weekend to celebrate some August birthdays in the JOnes family. Our kids had lots of fun with all there cousins.

Chelan

Saturday night at 2am our air conditioner broke. It's an annual thing and always happens in the very hottest time of year. So, when we got home from church on Sunday we decided to head to Chelan for the day to avoid our hot house. (when we left it was 85 inside and when we got home it was 98 inside). The good news is my dad and Matt saved the day and had a window unit to put in. THANKS GUYS!
