Last Weekend and Stuff

Brrrrrr...
Here's our backyard covered in snow.
It's so cold (7 degrees) our windows have ice on the inside

but our kids still like to play out there

Last weekend we went to Spokane for Mandy and Jon's wedding and Julie's convocation ceremony. Maddie loved Polly
Maisy liked her too
Ella and I at the wedding. Ella was cute, I was a bridesmaid but she thought I was a princess.
Amy Joy, Elliott, Eden making snow angels. Ella just followed her cousins around all weekend.

Random Pics

These are just some cute random pics from the last few weeks.

Maisy was cute wearing her tiara and reading a ballerina book with her baby. I never would have thought I would have such "girly- girls"
Wesley and Ella wanted to go play in the rain. Thier idea of playing was standing on the deck under the umbrella.

Our friend Sam- Sam has a new little sister...

Haley Marie. We love little babies around here. Ella can't stay away from her "tiny face"

Harvest Festival

Last week we went to a harvest festival and here are some pics from the day.
Ella loves to pose and she's very photogenic
Maisy peeking around the maze
Maddie and Maisy playing in an apple bin
Jasper saying "cheese"

The Cat Whisperer

We have a stray semi-wild kitten that shows up to play when the girls go outside. All the girls like it but Maisy LOVES it. She carries it around and follows it everywhere so I have been calling her the cat whisperer.

Birthday Girl!

Our little Ella is growing up! Last Tuesday she turned 3 years old. We bought her a bike and spent the morning at the park learning to ride it. Then we went shopping and out to coffee (she had hot chocolate) just Ella and I. Then we went to Red Robin for dinner so she could be sung to by the Red Robin bird.

Saturday we had the long awaited birthday party. Ella has been waiting to have her Strawberry Shortcake party since May. She was a happy girl!

Chatty Ella

Ella was talking on her "cell phone" about a tire getting popped by a screwdriver (Inspired by Lindsey). I think the pauses like she is really listening to someone and her facial expressions are super funny.

Sleepy Head

I love sleeping babies. Especially my sleeping babies since I never get to see them still and quiet.

Broken Maddie

So... on Tuesday morning Maddie fell off our deck and broke her collarbone. Poor babe had to be in pain for 2 days before the doctor did an x-ray and found out she broke it. We went in Tuesday and the doctor (who is not our regular pediatrician) told us she was probably crying so much cause she was sore and traumatized from the fall. I didn't think so but I took her home anyways. The next morning she was still clingy, wouldn't walk or play and she just wanted to be held. I took her in again that afternoon and they decided to do a few x-rays. Sure enough her collarbone is broke completely. There isn't to much they can do since she is so little so she just has to wear a brace for the next 3 weeks. Luckily she likes it. Also, she is medicated. She is a tough girl. The hardest part is that she is not supposed to fall. How do you keep a VERY busy 15 month old from falling?

Maisy wants to be like her big sister so whenever she sees Maddie with her brace, Maisy puts on a mitten and wears it all day too.

This picture isn't relevant to the post but aren't these little chubby legs and feet cute?

Picnic at the Park

Last Friday I took the girls to the park for a picnic. I told Ella that she could bring her baby and stroller and I thought she was prett cute pushing it around. She loves to be a "mommy"

Chelan County Fair

Saturday we went to the fair in Cashmere. We had lots of fun on the rides. Someone gave us there left over tickets so Jordan was able to take each of the girls on a ride.

Maisy wasn't so crazy about the carousel after about half way through.
Maddie loved it. She waved at all the people through most of the ride.
Ella rode on the strawberry ride
The babes loved watching all the people.
Ella's favorite animals were the goats and sheep, her least favorite the pigs (good girl)

A Ghost?!

So...I saw this car sitting next me the other day on 5th street and thought it was interesting. It has the "3 steps to eternal life" on the door and the story of Jesus in graphics along the bottom of the car. Well, I had my camera and snuck a picture of it out the corner of the driverside window to show Jordan. When I got home we noticed the blurry black box (bottom right) and blurry spots to the left of the box. Well, I was sure I got a ghost or something. I couldn't figure out any other explanation...until Jordan pointed out to me that our car window has a little GM label on it. Oh well...I guess I didn't get the money shot I hoped but I did get a laugh at my airheadedness.

Cheney

We went to Cheney last weekend for Mandy and John and Nick and Adreli's engagement party.
Fun was had.
We (well... not I) hung from a rope

played with Grandpa

The highlight for Ella was the 2 baby goats, Zeke and Isley
Thanks to Barb and Bill for lunch and letting us play at your house!

Whoa! Pink

Last week Jordan worked out of town so I decided to paint Madelyn and Maisy's room to give me something to do. I went with pink and wow is it pink. The girls like it though. Ella told me "Thank you mom for painting me a strawberry shortcake room." (eventhough it's not her room)

Mighty Duck

I thought this was a funny picture. Madelyn wore this towel around for a long time and she kept saying "pretty". I would try taking it off and she would cry and put it back on.

Fun Week

We had a fun week with some of the cousins. Here's some pictures.
This is just a cute one of the girls
Julie helped me put up the trampoline FINALLY.
or the "jumpoline" according to Ella. She loved playing with all the big kids.

Eden and Ashley caught a praying mantis.
Madelyn got hit in the face with a swing. Poor girl always has a bump or bruise or in this case a black eye.
We went up to Ed and Linda's on Saturday night to see the Thorntons.
What a cute bunch of kids we have.
