So... on Tuesday morning Maddie fell off our deck and broke her collarbone. Poor babe had to be in pain for 2 days before the doctor did an x-ray and found out she broke it. We went in Tuesday and the doctor (who is not our regular pediatrician) told us she was probably crying so much cause she was sore and traumatized from the fall. I didn't think so but I took her home anyways. The next morning she was still clingy, wouldn't walk or play and she just wanted to be held. I took her in again that afternoon and they decided to do a few x-rays. Sure enough her collarbone is broke completely. There isn't to much they can do since she is so little so she just has to wear a brace for the next 3 weeks. Luckily she likes it. Also, she is medicated. She is a tough girl. The hardest part is that she is not supposed to fall. How do you keep a VERY busy 15 month old from falling?
Maisy wants to be like her big sister so whenever she sees Maddie with her brace, Maisy puts on a mitten and wears it all day too.

Oh no! Poor little thing. But man is she cute or what? They both are. I loved the mitten pic too. That's funny. I hope Maddie feels better soon.
My poor little "Scooter"...Felt bad that it took us two days to find out she had a broken collar bone!! She's such a little trooper though...She actually likes having the brace on - still! I thought she'd be over it by now, but she likes to have it on! Good thing our girls like to dress up.
Grandpa K says she has a broken wing. I guess that's because she's one of his little angels.
