Maddie has had a scratchy voice and a cough for a few weeks so yesterday I took her to the doctor to have a little checkup. I was expecting him to say it was nothing to worry about and it was just leftover from a cold she had awhile ago. But it wasn't. She has damaged vocal cords, possibly asthma and is probably going to need to have her tonsils out. We were not expecting that.

Oh no! Poor Maddie. That is not fun news to get. Keep us posted on what the next step is. :( Love the recent stuff on the blog though. The girls are SO cute!
So far we just give her a shot of a nebulizer before bedtime and it seems to help with her coughing all night. She hated the nebulizer at first but is starting to warm up to the process - the hard part is getting a 2 year old to take a deep breath and hold it in...Oh well. :)
